Terms of Service
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lola (the “Service”), operated by Lola, Inc. (“Lola,” “we”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Lola ingests documents and integration content you connect, extracts and organizes their contents, and helps your team review contracts and answer questions about your corpus. Features depend on the plan and integrations you enable.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Your data
As between you and Lola, you retain all rights to the content you submit (“Customer Data”). You grant Lola a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and secure the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and the vendors that process Customer Data are listed on our Subprocessors page.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe others’ rights, upload malware, attempt to breach security or tenant isolation, reverse engineer the Service, or resell it without authorization.
6. Third-party integrations
When you connect a third-party service (e.g. Google Drive), your use of that service remains subject to that provider’s terms. You are responsible for having the rights to connect the data you connect.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is.” Lola assists legal and business teams and does not provide legal advice; outputs should be reviewed by a qualified person before you rely on them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lola will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited as set out in the applicable order or, absent one, the fees paid in the prior twelve months.
10. Term & termination
Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable order or for material breach. On termination you may export Customer Data for a reasonable period, after which we delete it per our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post the updated version here and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
